He is dumping all the responsibility on Carter which is BS. He is a very talented young Goalie which the team played shitty in front of him. I watched his body language last year; he was wondering why the fuck the arn't these guys playing better "D" in front on me. Next season you will trade Carter and tell the fan base that "We didn't see enough development from him. Fletcher is a disaster. Look at what Tampa did to keep their quality players. We have less then 5 quality players. I live in Tampa born and raised in PA and a Flyers fan, it makes me sick to think what this guy and ownership group is doing to a once Proud Franchise.
Unfortunately even when he is fired he has already set back the team for many years to come…I'm sure the arena will be packed this year with all the exciting players he brought in.
Took a stacked farm system that over a 3 season stretch was ranked in the top 5 and turned it into a bottom 1/3rd, or worse, in the league. Took all of those prospects and somehow had every single 1 regress to the point they were traded for next to nothing or just outright gave away. When Hextall and Prior were fired did they just do away with and not hire anyone to develop these prospects? Yes prospects are just that, prospects, but for every league source that ranks and follows young players to be wrong on 95% of our entire program is just NOT realistic. Its the management team failing not all these kids just arent good.Took cap space, long AND short term, and took us back to the stone ages AKA the Holmgren era. I'd continue but just all this alone should of easily gotten this guy fired. I've read Wild fan pages since his hiring and also back into his last seasons in Minny and this guy should of never been hired in the 1st place but that's the old buddy club us true Flyers fans wanted gone. Hextall was doing that but Homer took his chance once Mr Snider was gone and fired him 4 years into a 7 year plan that was ok'd by Mr Snider who did this knowing he may not be alive to see Hexys plan thru.
