  1. If I was rich & wanted to own a pro/ major league team, I move the Coyotes to Southern CA. The California Coyotes in Riverside-San Bernardino CA. And their minor league farm team in Palm Springs (my hometown is Indio CA). The Ontario Reign, current farm team of the LA Kings in the AHL can relocate to L.A. area (Inglewood forum or North Hills arena) +

  2. I constantly see "Canes back to Hartford," but why Not Islanders or Rangers? the Brooklyn Nets and Islanders share a stadium and it's chaos. I'm also sick of seeing two New York, NY teams. Buffalo, cool, a second New York, ugh. Quebec Ould be nice, but not strong enough to hold a team. I know lots want Seattle, but I don't know. But as long as Milwaukee can get an expansion team, I'm happy 🙂

  3. Lets have two teams in middle of desert and lets see how they burn down in 5-10years good job bettman

  4. They should head for Seattle or Portland. Both cities have arenas ready for an NHL team, things won't get better regardless of where they move to, and, best of all, there would not be any need for a realignment. It's sad to see this franchise just keep failing while there are other cities and fans who want a team. The situation really has no winners. The team has no chance to succeed, the taxpayers have to keep funding a team they don't really want, and the league keeps losing money. Here are some proposals that would make all 4 divisions equal and not require any realignment:
    1. Move the Coyotes to Seattle or Portland
    2. Give an expansion franchise to Kansas City or Milwaukee
    3. Move the Hurricanes back to Hartford as the new Whalers
    4. Move the Florida Panthers to Quebec as the new Nordiques

Though you might want to switch the Lightning to the Metropolitan and the Whalers to the Atlantic.

  5. Move them back to Phoenix. They belong there. They actually sold out games there. Whoever thought moving the Coyotes to Glendale needs to be fired. They should've never left Phoenix. They should go back and keep the name Arizona Coyotes. However, I would leave that up to the fans as to whether they want the Arizona Coyotes or Phoenix Coyotes.

  6. From someone who has visited AZ quite a bit, been to a game, and has a few friends from AZ, I'll say this. To touch on some of your points 1. The arena is very far away from everything, it is about 45 minutes from downtown or Scottsdale 2. Most people there are transplants or their parents are, many of them already have loyalties to other teams. 3. Most people there don't care about hockey, the hockey culture is in Scottsdale where there are rinks. New hockey culture is also starting at ASU (Tempe) with the the formation of a new NCAA team. The team needs to win to get people to care. 4. The marketing and management point could not be more true. I have seen no sign of the team outside of the rink. The new location is much closer to everything and has bars in the proximity. I think it will help a bit.

  7. Seattle, Portland, or even Kansas City would make good relocation cities for Arizona, but Bettman won’t move them cuz he’s an idiot. Honestly don’t even know why he’s the commissioner of the NHL. He makes the game of hockey look bad because of his selfishness and stubbornness. He’s a terrible commissioner.

  8. I am a coyotes fan for 15 years. As a season ticket holder.
I have been through ruff years with the team. I hope the team can stay in Arizona.
Even though the status is bad. This is hope.
The owner Andrew is committed to stay in Arizona.
So I would love to team be a successful in the valley the fan base. And in business.
The mayor in Phoenix wants the coyotes to stay.

  9. Breaking news on a article that Seattle is applying for a NHL team. Arizona can relocate

  10. Just to let everyone know the NHL DOES NOT move the teams, the teams owners do.

  11. Roses are red violets are blue I love hockey and post 2 post 2

  12. Gary Bettman is basically the NHL version of Dan Snyder (owner of Washington Redskins who refuses to change the team name)

  13. Okay Coyotes fans don't get too triggered but my opinion on the matter is since Seattle is looking to acquire a NHL team (either expansion or relocation), what if the Coyotes relocate to Seattle ? Or maybe they could relocate to Salt Lake City and share an arena with the Jazz?

  14. I cannot stand Buttman.
He has given millions of dollars to this team, although nothing to the original team they were.

    Edit:
I know that I am holding a grudge however BM has made so many stupid decisions with this team alone, nevermind everything thing not heard of yet.

  15. I would like to see a move to houston and in houston they can keep the coyotes name
