  1. I don’t want to give up a 1st for a player with an contract that expires after next season. We are not winning the cup next year so Miller might want to leave to free agency and then were left with nothing of value from that trade when we are suppose to challenge in a few years. Vancouver might also look for more than just the pick which makes this worse for us.

  2. Hear my out. Canucks sign and trade miller for a 8×8. Canucks and devils swap firsts (before lottery). Income Luke Hughes. Is that fair ish?

  3. Jt Miller is a 99 point player this year on Vancouver Canucks..Vancouver need defenseman and a top Prospect forward or two

  4. It seems to be the new management is determined to hold the line on the insane contracts and they get my support on that idea. In my opinion Milsy just played himself off the team as he has earned a giant new contract and is very likely to get moved as the Canucks don't have the cap space or the inclination to sign Milsy for what he can get in the open market. The problem is the Canucks need more players that are hard to play against and are really productive. Milsy fits the bill nicely. Then there is the Boeser thing, which they have to get done, but most likely they will be stuck signing him for the one year 7.5 mill he is owed and then it gets difficult for Brock as the next contract is going to much less unless he can light it up next season. The year end comments are a clear indication that this team is not going to be the same team going into next season. I expect some big changes as the new managers want to make their mark. Would not surprise me if Boudreau will not be back even though the job he did was really good. I like the fact that they are cautious about contracts but they may find out that Vancouver is a lot harder to sign free agents for cheap or attract them at all, maybe it is a tax thing or whatever but it is a thing i have noticed over the years. Should be exciting to see what they come up with during the off season.

  5. I think the Devil's first is only available for a top-tier goalie. So unfortunately TJ Miller is not on their radar

  6. Fitz says this every year about trading first round pick for an impact player. Fitz will never trade a top 7 pick for a 29 year old player who is a center man since we have Hirscher and Hughes. Please explain to me where he plays? This is just nonsense.

  7. Who knows, but this seems like 100% spec. Management probably know what he wants, and looking at how much were over paying Myers, OEL. I'm guessing 10 million x 5-8 years. He's a top player and he's on a great co tract for next year. That's major value for a team trying to make a push for the cup next year. Multiple firsts, blue chip prospect value. Canucks could get a kings ransom for this guy. Looking at what Ristolainen got for Buffalo. The Canucks might be able to set themselves up for the future with the right deal

  8. If they trade before the lottery maybe I would, but not after, I do not think Milller is only worth a 5th-7th.

  9. Terrible trade how about we keep are 5th or 6th pick in the draft. Canucks fans begging for Jack Hugh trade just pathetic he's on lock down for Hugh extension.

How about this we will give you the 5th for Quinn Hughs.

  10. i think a single top 5 pick wont entice the Canucks to pull the trigger on a deal. It's been much harder to find good prospects even in the top 5, who might not even play in the NHL the following year. If the Canucks are retooling, trading MIller is quite literally tanking the team, you can't replace 99 points, hits, face offs. Don't be shocked if Boeser is on the move instead, and Miller provides a hometown discount to the Canucks. Boudreau is not going anywhere.

  11. Why would a team in full rebuild trade the 5th for JT. This is absurd. especially in a draft with a solid top 5
