    Bunting — Matthews — Marner

    Nylander — Kerfoot — Jarnkrok

    Aston-Reese — Kampf — Aube-Kubel

    Fourth line still TBD.

I feel like we should see Malgin on the second line at least until Tavares is back. Perfect opportunity to see if he has what it takes to contribute in the top 6. If so, the line gets even better when Tavares comes back.

Isn’t Engvall expected to be back before the regular season? Or did I imagine that? I assume he would end up on a 3rd line with Jarnkrok. Malgin to line 2. Kampf line becomes the 4th line once fully healthy.

    Fully Healthy Lineup?

    Bunting – Matthews – Marner

    Nylander – Tavares – Jarnkrok

    Engvall – Kerfoot – Malgin

    Aston-Reese – Kampf – Aube-Kubel

    Thoughts?

    EDIT

If the Nylander/Malgin chemistry continues to be as good as it is, and Tavares is looking a little too slow to be playing C anymore, I imagine you could see something crazy like

    Tavares – Matthews – Marner

    Nylander – Jarnkrok – Malgin

    Bunting – Kerfoot – Engvall

Hopefully Engvall can learn to play RW, if not I assume Kerfoot is good enough where he can play 3rd line RW and have Engvall play C.

I’m this setup, the TOI for lines 2 and 3 would be a lot more evenly split, with both running 15/17 a night, essentially having 1 First line, 2 2nd lines and a 4th line

Oh man, that third line will score 0 points, but also allow 0. ‘The Black Hole’ line, lol
