Islanders are looking for a puck moving, left shot defenseman, with a reasonable cap hit. Brent Burns is none of those as well as being 37. If Lou were to make a deal like this I would volunteer to drive him to a psychiatric facility to be commited.
Stars are looking to fill the spot Klingberg leaving opens. why would they then include Harley, just to open another gap in D? Does Burns really hold that much more value then Seguin at this point? Maybe a 1 for 1 with some picks added from the Stars. I'm not willing to include Harley, at all.
This might sound a little silly but I heard Burns in an interview when asked about ever shaving his beard say he wouldn't because it was in a contract under one of his endorsement deals. Not sure how that would work with the Islanders clean shaven rules during the regular season?
How about a 3 way deal including Seattle or Detroit or Arizona in the the mix for one of the 3 dmen with stupid contracts
