You have to be worried if you're an Oilers fan. A Kings team with no Drew Doughty takes you to seven games isn't a good sign.
Good fought series. The Kings will be good going forward. They were beat by the better team this year. Thank You Dustin Brown for everything you did for the Kings. I hope they put you in the rafter in LA.

POWERFUL PASSING OF THE TORCH! did anybody see that ESPN post game feed? As background, Gretzky, a former oiler and king, had predicted (as an Atlanta based panelist on TNN, ESPN) that the Kings would win in 6 and doubled down, that they would win game 7.
Connor had the headset on after the victory. Gretzky waxed poetic about how he put the team on his shoulder, like a champion … how did he feel after the win.
Connor said "F*** you Gretz, you're not an Oiler!" pulled off the headset and walked off. Goofy looks from the panel preceded a cut to commercial before the american panel interviewed some other goof.
Good for Connor. That is how you pass a friggin torch.
