I am intrigued. On the one hand, I’ve heard that some puckmoving defencemen have a hard time on their offside, because of the way they receive the puck. On the other hand, Rielly is all over the ice anyway, and could pair well with someone like Muzzin
Babcock tried this for like 3 games after Muzzin was acquired and the results were actually alright, been wondering if they were going to give it another go at some point.
Worth a shot if nothing else.
I wondered if this would happen.
Rielly got locked up for all of his prime so it makes sense that he’d be willing to take a potential hit in production for the good of the team.
