A deal that is a win / win for both teams. Some of us want to argue that the contract is an overprice, for a goalie who does not have much experience in the NHL in the form of games played. The length is perfect, partly it gives security to the player and it creates a calm in the leadership. The cap hit, is not the best or the worst. There are plenty of other NHL teams that he had on his list. Getting him under contract before someone else is a cheap price to pay. Because soon it's time to negotiate with Ned, When Ned signs he will get paid. Tandem, I'm not worried about the cooperation between the two. Personally, I think both will grow as the season goes on.
I still think we will not reach the playoffs, a season where we have .485 is what I expect this year. #LGRW

Good pickup but we paid him a ton for his 50 NHL game experience. I like Husso's lateral movement and explosive leg extensions on cross crease passes, but he has a tendency to not close the 6 and 7 holes and can over commit on dekes. Nothing the new goalie coach can't fix. Much improved over Greiss and hope he and Ned fall in love.
