I won’t believe anything until I see Nico on the ice for a game but please please please please.
Awesome
October: He’ll be out longer than expected
November: We’re gonna get a second opinion on it
January: We anticipate Nico coming back soon
March: Nico is shut down for the season
April: Nico will be getting his leg amputated.
June 1: Devils extend medical staff to a 5 year extension
I don’t see why he would come back so quickly. Hamstring strains have a high rate of reinjury and often the subsequent strains are worse than the initial one. Nico’s a decade younger, but this type of injury basically nerfed James Harden for a full season, and it still remains to be seen if he’ll ever be able to be full strength again. Why push the recovery timetable?
I have the little boy who cried wolf syndrome when it comes to injury updates. Too many times we’ve been deceived, so I have absolutely no trust. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Baby, please.
See you after Thanksgiving Nico!
