  1. So stoked as a Kings fan love this deal so much he’s gonna be perfect on the 1st line with Kopi and Juice

  2. The cap is going to be going up in the next 3-5 years and that contract is going to look very good especially if Fiala stays consistent with his production.

  3. The wild just got rid of a 25 year old fiala who has averaged .92pts a game over last 3 yrs. Classic MN choosing nice safe players vs actual talent. Spurgean, who somehow is our captain, is the one overrated and we should have done something to get rid of him. Spurgean made at least 3 bad mistakes in the playoffs that led to goals. Yet we choose to save him because he is a nice guy…

  4. I think the Wild gotta do a small rebuild for the next 3 seasons, seeing as that’s how many years are left on the Parise/suter buyouts. Tough seeing Fiala, or any player leave because Wild can’t afford them due to the Cap hell they’re in

  5. The Kings are farther along in building their team than the Wild which is why this deal makes a lot of sense both ways. Look for Minnesota to parlay that #19 pick into a deal maybe to move up in the draft. Wild fans should be happy to get a highly rated defensive prospect who's a local kid. Brock Faber might be ready for the NHL this year or next but he's just about to start his career.

  6. Big win for the kings. I expected fiala to get a bigger return for him.

  7. I've been watching Fiala for years at every Wild game. He has dazzling skills and speed. He scores most often in garbage time. He is a notorious turnover machine. He also has a knack for getting penalties at the wrong time. If you only know his game by the stats, you'd sound like the presenter here.

  8. I absolutely love this trade . This exactly what the kings needed so well done kings front office.

  9. If you’re a kings fan who isn’t happy you’re fucking insane! When are we gonna start talking about Rob Blake as one of the top GM’s in the league! Go Kings Go!

  10. I just don’t like the idea of getting into cap hell sooner rather than later when we could have had this offence come through our vast prospects but also what does this mean kempe is worth? 7.5? Points totals aren’t the same but goals 33 and 35 respectively

  11. Both sides won,First of- Minnesota gets cut off cap space and they get really good defenseman to help with the future for Minnesota
For LA Kings other team they get scoring Foward that can that can help forward group and a young veteran that can help the prospects and rookies, that's huge
So it's a steal for both sides

  12. Gonna miss Kevin here in MN. I remember when he started lighting up the league and was making our Granlund trade look great. Best of luck in LA! Can’t wait for Brock Faber 🔥

  13. Hated Kings for a long time, but its now really hard with Danault, Fiala and Arvidsson.

  14. as a kings fan this was fair with all things considered. the mid first rounder could be a solid pick in this draft and brock faber is steady eddy on the back end he’s 100% a future nhler

  15. Fiala can’t sign for 8 years with LA. He could only do that with the team that had the previous contract, Minnsota.

  16. I believe the Kings definitely came out on top on this deal. Minnesota pretty much had to trade him not necessarily to the Kings. Faber is a good player but he's on proven in the NHL. Do I think the king's overpaid probably by about a million dollars. But if things go right and he fits in with the Kings they could be on their way to a conference final or more. They did take Edmonton to seven games not that Edmonton's all that. And you mentioned that he would play with Iafalla that will never happen. Matter of fact it'll be even surprised if he's still with the team. He is not necessarily a fan favorite. And the new acquisition from Minnesota will be on the top line with Kopitar and most likely Adrian Kempe. Who they just inked to a extension.
