The refs decided to play late Santa Claus and hand the game to the Preds, allowing them to get away with two trips and a high stick with blood and stitches in the third period and then calling a completely BS too many men on the ice penalty on the Avs in OT.
That's sort of home advantage biased officiating usually only happens in the NBA.
As a preds fan, the refs were TRASH.

Kuemper is not the answer obviously. And with Francois' history of injuries, the Avs are likely headed for another playoff failure unless they make a move on a quality goaltender. There are some good ones available.

Both too many men calls were bad but the last especially was abysmal – that ref should never ref an NHL game again – ruined the game.

Maybe the ref counted the ref on the colorado bench as the extra player….. but even if he did, that official is sitting on the boards, not on the ice, so even in that situation it'd still be an idiotic call.
