It's none other than Lewis Gross the same agent that represents Nylander and has a habit of going the distance and settling at the last minute. Look for this to be another drawn out negotiation with Dubas not backing down this time. Leafs don't need sandin like they needed nylander. He can sit for the year if the leafs wish. Or trade him and make a statement.

Now that's an interesting word "Pissed", How can Dubas sign Sandin when he doesn't have the money? Have you not noticed that Dubas has blown his 1st round picks the last 2 years and got nothing but rid of Mazrek's contract was better and going down 13 spots for a worse pick, as well Dubas has only signed 1 or 2 year contracts with one 3 year contract now that's really adding strength for the future!! You are stuck with Muzzin, Holl and Sandin there is not a team in the NHL touching Muzzin's contract, Holl is just not a good defensemen and you expect a body for Sandin be realistic your talking about an unsigned defensemen as well he has only played 88 games in the NHL!! A 2 year bridge deal makes sense for Sandin. In 2 years cap will rise and Muzzin and Brodie deals will be up. Leafs will have options at that time on defence.
It's so cringy whenever Michael speaks matter-of-factually and gets the information just straight up wrong.
The Sandin standoff has nothing to do with money or term. Him and his agent has made it clear right after the playoffs that Sandin thinks he is an everyday player and should have a spot on the roster – management pushed him to the backburner in favour of Lehtonen, then acquired Lybushkin last season with the combination of the acquisition and resigning of Gio pushed Sandin out. Coaching staff also let him sit every playoff game.
This is a stand off because if playing time and opportunity, not money. As Leafs fans who also have a podcast about the Leafs, you should know this public information.
