I love the signing
We bought him home 😏
It’ll age great if he produces like he has been, considering the cap space will go up 3-5 mil a year after next season
a cemented 2C! exactly what we needed to become a more legitimate bubble team with a serious shot of making the playoffs this next season! huge signing! Now we just need a left D.
Questionable. Hope he isn't a fluke.
Most likely 2nd line but possibly 1st
LGRW 🐙
How Good Do Olli Maatta And Ben Chiarot Project To Be
As a big Rangers fan, seems like center depth is always a problem. Plus Rangers terrible at faceoffs…hate to lose Copp though…does this mean Ryan Strome is also gone from the Rangers?
WE ALSO GOT MAATTA AND HOPES FOR CHIROT
Also Olli Määta … a solid experiment
I feel like if he played top line minutes with Larkin and Raymond he will have his best year
Don’t really see this guy helping out guys like zadina. Would have much rather scooped Matt savioe and just shoved him in the n2 spot. This team is looking to be average again. Can’t wait for us to sneak into the playoffs just to go out in the first round like we were doing before the rebuild. I really see Copp and Larkin falling off points wise in the next couple years.
5 years is a bit too much he'll be 33 and will later get less ice time and end up as a 4th liner center. Yzerman should aim for Johnny G dudes
Damn
Considering our other center options this is a huge upgrade for wings. Seems a bit long in term, but overall it's what we need.
I like Copp. Easy 50-60 point guy (maybe 70+ with a bigger role) and great in his own end. That said he gives me Franzen vibes. He is just one of those guys that always seems to be hurt and is one hit away from ending his career.
Olli Maatta signed one year contract
This is a great move.
Johnny Gaudreau agent talking to Stevie, expresses interest. Who knows, that will be a bomb shell.
Second line center for sure! I like it! LGRW!
Better point getter then Suter, and good on the PK too
Maata and Chairot signed now as well, and there's rumor that Palat may be coming to Detroit. Very big day from Stevie Y
Heard yzerman is taking a run at Gaudreau, Kadri and trading for provorov. Should be very interesting if any of these come to fruition
Jets won that trade
stop droolin' sucks lol
oh boy not only stacked for years but stacked right now gonna be exciting to watch them gain some momentum back to the top real quick like 👍
Ann Arbor's own Andrew Copp. GO WINGS!! GO BLUE!!
Love the term and AAV. Really great sign especially compared to the Trocheck deal.
He’s going to ice a team that could be an actual threat.
Perron signs with Wings woohoo
Left handed Left wing slot is open too. Depends on if they can find a second line center.
2nd line center with Bert and Perron keep Larkin with vrana and Raymond lines 3+4 have lots of options now
Red Wings fans have to be tickled pink by what Y has been doing to rebuild his team. Good players, some young and some hitting their golden years, with contract lengths suited to the signings and very decent pay to match.
i honestly couldn't tell you how this Redwings lineup will look like. They can throw multiple line combinations on the first 3 lines
Stevey Y…crushed it.
