I still just don’t understand how we haven’t traded for Lawson Crouse yet. One of the few missing pieces I think we clearly need. Also at all costs we must keep Sandin it’s pretty obvious how good he will be and if it takes moving someone like Muzzin I’d do it in a heartbeat.

I like Lawson Crouse. However with Wayne Simmonds available for our 4th line I'm not a fan. The real deal for the leafs to me is a big time left winger that can score to go with Matthews on the first line. Jonathan Huberdeau from the flames for 50 percent contract value. Lets have it Dubas.

sorry who comes up with these trades. everyone knows toronto needs cap space and to trade kerfoot and Holl for a better forward makes no sense. Then Muzzin to Calgary? you know Calgary has 9 defencemen already and several over 4mil so why would they want muzzin? how about toronto gives muzzin and 1st round pick.
Pretty sure the Flames don't need a 10th NHL defenseman (8 of them who would make top 6 on any NHL team).
Leafs want Sonny Milano instead….. I'd wager they will ship Muzzin to Seattle if he will waive his no trade. Leafs could pick up Adam Larsson…who is a right D and 1.5mil cheaper. These are more likely scenarios

Crouse isn't going anywhere. Coyotes love him. I live in AZ, highly highly HIGHLY unlikely Crouse gets moved. Armstrong has a plan in AZ and while a high pick is in their future, they aren't in full tank mode like everyone says. They want an NHL team that competes hard and doesn't lose by 5 goals every night next season. Now, they wouldn't mind losing by 1 goal…but they aren't trying to ruin careers either. Armstrong wants to put a real NHL team on the ice this season for Dylan Guenther's development and for Keller's sake, who they want to keep around in to his next contract. They're going to have to fill seats in a new arena soon and the lottery has never been good to them. Literally never…So they aren't relying on it now.

I've been saying this trade since last trade deadline. Crouse in the first or second line LW. Signed 3-3.5m for 4-5 years.
I like Crouse a lot and think he'll thrive in the right organization. He's a good physical steady no bs guy game in game out.

You can't trade Sandin. The whole point of moving Muzzin is to open up that slot for Sandin.
