  1. Wouldn’t mind if breadboy was traded, definitely not worth the $11 million plus he’s getting.

  2. IF the bread man does get traded…. Buffalo could afford his contract.
Buffalo could give up the rights to defense Ryan Johnson & goalie Erik Portillo.
    Add Isak Rosen, a 2024 1st rd pick + a roster player or 2…

  3. Panarin could be traded but only if Rangers would retain at least couple of million of that contract. He would have great value with 7 million AAV. Then maybe 4x1st rnd picks or equal assets.

  4. Panarin's 3 year stats with NY….
    186GP 71G 178A 249PTS +71
Only 2 players have a point per game stat higher than him over this time.
    McDavid and Draisaitl.
There is no way he gets traded

  5. They wouldn't have panarin be traded when they just got trocheck. Panarin is going nowhere they want to win now after the ecf

  6. LGR in Dury we trust I agree with the article AP was awful in the playoffs trading a RW in Buch really hurt us this year probably cost us the cup. The only way he waivers his NMC is going to a contender like the Flames for Keith would have been do able and I am sure Dury asked him to waive it or maybe for Hurberdou or Barkov or Dressitle somebody of that elk and salary range he won’t go to teams that can absorb the cap like the Sens the devils the AZ unless we know we are going to sign Mathew’s it makes no sense the game is won by grit and by the creative superstars as well you need both look at the AVS the Lighting you need both

  7. Panarin is one of the top forwards in the NHL, but no wing is worth $11.6 million. He's also 30 and maybe has 4 years at best of being a top 10 forward. No GM with half a brain would take on that timebomb contract and give up significant assets for the pleasure. The Rangers might as well ride it into oblivion at this point and hope to pick up a cup along the way.

  8. 100 pt player is a "bad contract" lmfao. Please send him and his bad contract back to Columbus where he'll be appreciated

  9. This Panarin trade talk is absurd, he is a top 3 winger, and he had 1 not great round in the playoffs. I am not buying any of this chatter.

  10. Rangers should consider Prospects and there first pick for Kane. Kappo would have to be included. It puts them cup finalist. Of course Hawks retain some bad contracts. Doable.

  11. I'm so happy he turned down the Isles HIGHER offer….
tavares too. They both did us a big favor.

  12. Panarin needs a line mate that clicks with him. Trade trouba, he’s just so slow. And chytil is finally looking strong and ready to play like a man does. Panarin will be better this season now he has a real center to play with

  13. Big Rangers fan here. Panarin is an elite player who can accumulate points in the regular season. But his style of finesse east/west game is not conducive for playoff hockey. Rangers need a player that can come through in the playoffs. I would not be upset if the Rangers moved him and got a few players that are more adopt for playoff hockey and shine in the playoffs as opposed to the regular season. But like you said the AVV of 11.6 million will be hard to move even if Panarin waives his NMC. So at the end of the day Panarin remains with the Rangers. Maybe down the road Rangers will move him as he gets older and at that point will maintain some of his 11.6 million to entice a team to take him in the later years of his contract and age.

  14. I don’t necessarily doubt that there’s a rift but if your bread, what else do you want him to do, he’s carried his line mates every time he’s the damn Ice

  15. Why would NYR actively be looking to move their best player, one of the best wingers in the league period. I don't see how that makes them better.

  16. OILERs!! yes… strait across for Con Mc Saviour or Mc Drys ! (( SARC on………OR……… Price >>> LTIR…. $ 10. 5 millions cap space >>> Bread Man s a Hab…..Price s knee is better? Dig up Tonya Harding to fix THAT! WHACK!!! SARC on again! Pan ain t going no where

  17. Using CF, looking at player's salary … if the NYR have already spent just over 63% of Panarin's contract, on year 3 of 7, okay, which direction do you think a trade will be weighted towards? opposing team or NYR? its a rhetorical, the trade return will be weighted heavily going back towards the Rangers, and it has to be. However, if opposing team is desparate for point scorer and is willing to trade futures, for a potential 100 point scorer, then do you risk it?

  18. Why aren't you talking about obtaining AHO from Carolina before talking about Panarin? no joke. How many other teams have made inquiries?

  19. On my team, Mr Iafallo's days are numbered. No Clauses, and 11 out of 12 current players are Left shooting. If any player's position is safe, regardless of clause, its Arvidsson's, a 60 minute player!! lol after all the trades, etc.

  20. Artemi Panarin was Bankrupt In New York Rangers So Chicago Blackhawks Should Pick Up Artemi Panarin Get His Number 72 ready in the Indian head again

  21. No way they trade him if they do the GM of the rangers should start looking for a new job and this is coming from an oilers fan to

  22. You’d need a Weber for PK Suban type of trade. Find another $ 11m plus who’s not wanted. Panarin and NYR are stuck with each other.

  23. It’s not “cheap”. We have a few younger players needing long term contracts coming up, and drury didn’t sign him to begin with. Not sure if it will happen but that $11+ million can go for laf and miller long term for 5-7 years a pop. I think that’s what drury is thinking but not sure they’ll trade him away.

  24. I agree , this rumor must have been heard in the showers. When a player can put that many points in a season the worst thing to do a create a rumor.

  25. If Drury can score 249 pts in 3 yrs he can trade him, otherwise keep your hands off the Bread man and get him some damn help why don't you. The Athletic knows nothing when it comes to the Rangers, how would that make them better. I really wish they would just shut up and stop trying to cause trouble, there is no story here move on why don't you.
