This team has already shown us an early season collapse last year.

This team has already shown us slow starts.

The GM and President have already expressed their concern about how much effort the team puts into practice.

We have to wait for the season to start and watch them play the actual games that count, but this kind of effort is something they’ve shown us before during the regular season. So seeing it again in preseason is still concerning, even if the games « don’t matter ».

To quote Satiar Shah: « [This Canucks group hasn’t earned enough trust yet for people to not be concerned by preseason performances](https://twitter.com/SatiarShah/status/1576422990195363840) »

Well at least the Vancouver ~~Canucks~~ Whitecaps won…

  3. nite_awol

the ‘leaders’ on this team (JT and Bo) looked lazy AF.

Just getting the losing streak out of the way during preseason so we can start the regular season on a winning one

Well, hopefully, they put in a stronger effort in Edmonton. Lazar and Joshua need someone other than Dicky on their line. Rathbone will need to grow into his role for sure, had some great shifts offensively, a few good d-zone plays and a few bad ones. Everone got outworked, seems like vets are taking it easy to avoid injuries or something… lack of intensity was evident.

  6. If there’s anything I’ve learned from being a Canucks fan, specifically on Reddit, is that we are a reactive group of people.

Relax. It’s okay. This team is good.

    Put Dickinson on waivers please
    Others deserve the spot more

Slow, lazy, avoids traffic , doesn’t hit, doesn’t deliver any value at all imo

I’m not sold on Hoglander, at all. We’re so far past the point where you can take solace that he « looked good »

    it’s time to deliver results

Dicky has gotta go. Our AHL guys show more heart and grit. Rathbone has showed us he is ready but needs to adjust to NHL level of play.

I wanna see lazar Hög and Joshua on a line because I feel like that’ll be our 4th

Did Dickinson kick everyone’s dog? What did he do to get so much hate?

Sometimes you have a bad day and just want to see your team score or goal or SOMETHING. Demko was good, Myers looked great for a moment before giving it away. Alas the giraffe is still chaos.

NHL guys didn’t look too good tonight, which makes me think someone told them to take it easy and avoid injury, which makes me think the Mikheyev and Boeser injuries might be worse than stated, which makes me think the start to our season might be bad, which makes me think we might miss the playoffs, which makes me sad.
