I would get a third team involved to take a portion of Bobrovsky’s contract. Look at Edmonton & Toronto who would need goalies. And look at teams like Ari, Buf, Ott, Det as the third party to take on the other portion of the contract.

Bobrovsky will still be very competitive for at least 5+ years…. those 5+ years, you can search for another "goalie of the future".
Trading Bobrovsky with 50% retain is counterproductive as when Spencer Knight gets a new contract, it'll just $5 million plus another $5 million (using Demko as a basis of comparison)… pretty much where you just started at.
If Knight can fetch a high pick, a player, plus a prospect (preferably a goalie), you'd take it.

Florida retains half of Bob's salary and includes Lundell and sends them to Buffalo. Save a Good amount salary wise. Include Lundell to entice Buffalo to take 5 mil of Bob's salary.
