What do you think about the Sabres’ future?
I never thought I'd live long enough to see Buffalo with 2 successful sports teams, I AIN'T HATING IT.
They had a sucky future until the Alex Tuch trade (that's right, Alex Tuch was the best player in that trade retrospectively. I said it). Now they have a bright future.
I mean, if they get to play the Leafs 82 times a year… sure
6 or more players won't be asked back…Adams will improve the team in replacing those players
IMHO, the Sabres will be a very competitive team, fighting for playoff spots, within 2-3 seasons–Tuch, Thompson, Power, Dahlin and the rest of the core is young and talented, and I look foward to them being a force soon. It's now very obvious why the Sabres insisted on Tage Thompson being included in the O'Reilly trade.

For the record, Okposo did not reinvent his game, this has always been his game, gritty power forward or grinder who goes to tough areas.
