I was looking back at these years when I was 1, 2, 3, years old back in the 05-06 to 07-08 years so I missed out. I made videos on these years since the lockout and I was shocked it got as bad as it did.

Never mention Bill Wirtz to a hawks fan of a certain age, people were already mad at him breaking up the Hawks of the early 90s, but the last straw was taking games totally off TV. Fans actively boycotted the team after that. Thank heavens Rocky made an effort to mend the ties between the team and fans

Hawks should have started rebuilding after they got blown out by Nashville in the playoffs. That was 4 years wasted plus some bad contracts they didn’t unload. Finally got them off the books. I’ll give Bowman credit for that but now Seth Jones is in. He better be worth what they’re paying him.

Looking at Kane’s ridiculous 2010 playoff stats knowing that Toews had one more point than him while being on of the top defensive centermen in the league. Both unreal players from the moment they stepped foot in the league.
As a Chicago fan I am not looking forward to the days when Kane and Toews retire. I’m not certain they can acquire a duo like that again in the near term, much less one of them.

I live near Montreal and I like to cheer for underdog. I was a FLA fan, but then in 2001-2002 I pick Chicago because they were bad. I am a fan since.
I grew up during the years they won the cups, and I'm not going to lie when I saw they were playing the Wild in the playoffs I would always just assume they would win against them.

2010-2011 was the botched Chris Campoli clearing attempt in our defensive zone. Hossa was plagued by goon play by Raffi Torres in the playoffs. 2012-2013 was the year the Hawks had Dan Carcillo and opened the year just steamrolling teams.Would have been interesting to see how the year would have played out if Car bomb didn't break his leg. 2013-2014 was the year when a shot from the point deflected off of Nick Leddy and got by Crawford. Truly was the best series of the NHL playoffs. The Kings smoked NJ in the finals 4-1. 2014-2015 was the finals when Ben Bishop hurt his hamstring and could barely slide left to right across the crease. 2015-2016 is known as the playoffs where the Blues got away with murder on the ice and the Hawks couldn't get a call their way. 2016-2017 Nashville skated the Hawks off the ice and we looked awful.

Duncan Keith left what was left of his prime in 2015 in Anaheim. He spent more time on ice than some Inuit in that series.

Chicago a team that became the ultimate dynasty team of the 2010's after New Jersey. Now in the 2020's it's Tampa Bay but it's still early in the decade.
