Absolutely no reason to watch this video if you think Larkin is getting traded.
Larkins camp probably came in around $9,500,000 and Yzerman around $7,500,000 so they will meet in the middle on a 8 year deal worth $8,500,000 AAV.
And how in the hell would Khan know that Detroit and Larkin are far apart, Yzerman doesn't leak contract negotiations he's not like Ken Holland Yzerman is very secretive like Lou Lamierello when it comes to contract negotiations. As much as I think Larkin re-signs I’m trying to manifest him coming to Columbus, he would be a great first line center, and he’s best friends with Zach Werenski.
Larkin isn't going anywhere but Bertuzzi may get moved by the trade deadline.

Larkin could be traded.He is a 2nd rate center who is soft and does not play in the corners. Bert does all the heavy lifting. Red Wings fans believe he is a top guy.44 in scoring last year is not a star by any means.Yzerman knows that.7 is enough a year for a captain that so far has not even been close to the play-offs!!
I like Dylan Larkin and his game certainly has a lot of pluses, but I have serious reservations about signing him to anything longer than 5-6 years at this stage of the Detroit rebuild. Sure his departure would hurt the team's prospects initially (say in the next couple of seasons), but with the talent that we now have coming through AND the salary cap flexibility that the team still currently has, going forwards, it would not be the end of the world if DL did actually depart (in the event that a mutually acceptable, sensible deal can't ultimately be secured to keep him in Detroit).

Larkin wanting $9 million probably will not happen. They cannot let him walk as a UFA either.
Once Larkin is signed Bertuzzi's contract will be a big hurdle to overcome.
