St. Louis and Lecavalier didn’t love the Canadiens enough to sign with them. I can’t think of a top French Canadian player that have signed with the Habs as a free agent in the last 20 years. Maybe Piere Turgeon which might have been a trade.

MTL won't want to give that much money to Huberdeau next year especially since that's the year Caufield will be a UFA and they will want Dubois before Huberdeau because of age. They just can't sign them all, unless Price's contract disappear from the cap for some reason..

Why would anyone want to play in Canada, when you could go to a state with 0 income tax. Price loses half of that 10.5 million every year, in Florida, Tennessee, Nevada, Washington to name a few, he’d get all of it. Nobody wants to play in Canada, not even Canadians. Everyone who's having these dreams of Huberdeau and Dubois please be realistic. They won't sign a discount deal to play for the Habs so your probably looking at 7-8 million per minimum for each so given Suzuki's contract plus Caufield's upcoming deal and other players how would you fit all that under the cap and expect everything to work? Add to that if Montreal land Bedard your looking at at least 10 million once his 3 year ELC done. Tying up most of your cap space in 4 forwards doesn't work

Honestly, if Calgary exchange Jonathan Huberdeau to Montréal. Calgary will ask for Juraj Slafkovsky and/or Cole Caufield and/or Nick SUzuki in return for Huberdeau and clearly Montréal will say no ! So what is the point of this video just pure speculation.
