  1. The NHL made a bug mistake basically killing tradition in hockey, it started with the sale of the Original HNIC Theme to TSN, then the NHL selling the rights to Sportnet! They killed all the great tradition in hockey. that Original HNIC Theme brought the generation's together. Then for good measure firing Don Cherry and keeping that turncoat Ron Maclean!!

  2. Mathew Knives at 6'3 and Fraser Minten at 6'1everyone of your prospects is under 6 feet tall now how are you suppose to use a prospect under 6 feet tall as trade bait you the only other top prospect you have is Nick Robertson he's a good player but has problems with his skating, and he's had injuries and he 's only 5'9 and you wonder why Toronto's prospect pool it is so slim!! Yes Ross and Pillsy doing a great job on Locked on Senators and no you don't need that 1st to 5th pick to draft the right guy look at Ridly Greig Ottawa drafted him 26th overall!! Not bad for so late in the first round, what Toronto needs is a whole new scouting department, they don't scout correctly always scouting undersized players and drafting them to!! So how can Dubas build up a prospect pool at any number in the draft, well for 1 the last 2 years you thrown your first round picks away, if your not drafting your not improving your prospect pool. Now Dave since you did bring up the Locked on Senators the Ottawa Senators have great top Prospects Shane Pinto, Alex Forementon, Lassi Thompson, Jocob Bermard-Docker to name a few the Sens are very deep with top prospects Dave!! GO SENS GO!!

  3. Mortiz Seider is way ahead of all of the elite prospects, including Jack Hughes – Seider is a beast, and could be one of the best players in the NHL even now. I would build around him for any up and coming team – love that guy from a hockey perspective.

  4. If Knies was a beast at World Juniors you Leaf media guys would be absolutely GUSHING over this guy – the fact that both he and Team USA bombed is suddenly of no concern for a 2-week piece of work. You can't have it both ways. Tell me I'm wrong without a facial tick.

  5. Not sure how Robertson is rated above NHL average for shot when he hasn't really played much – is this extrapolated based on AHL games or just looking at speed of shot?

  6. It’s kinda bull that we have to subscribe to two different networks to watch this team.

  7. Trade Sandin to Chicago, Anaheim or Arizona, sign Subban to the same deal as Mark Girodano. When the trade deadline gets close take the equity from the Sandin deal and push hard for Patrick Kane double trimmed to 25 percent contract value boo ya… Amirov or Robertson could be in the Kane deal…Go Leafs Go.

  8. Realistically, what do you think a Patrick Kane (to Toronto) trade would look like?

How much would the Leafs have to give up for Chicago to retain half of his salary?

If Kane were to come to Toronto and stay with the Leafs after his current contract expires, what would he sign for (term/value)?
