Cossa won’t get a single start in the NHL next season.
Very excited to see this kid develop.
Alex Nedeljkovic is definitely the starting goalie for the Wings right now it's the backup that I see as the question mark since Thomas Greiss Calvin Pickard and Marcus Hellberg are all currently Free Agents, yeah we just signed Jussi Olkinuora but that seems more of a pickup for Grand Rapids then for a 2nd Starting Goalie
I do agree that Cossa should play most if not all of this upcoming season in Grand Rapids and he could get a start as the occasional 3rd Goalie but that just depends on who gets Resigned but I'm not expecting to see him make consistent apprentices until 2023-24

Its tough to speculate when you don't know if the players, coach and system are helping his numbers or not. I'd like 19 to get 2 later round pick GT's just to be sure or maybe hit on a gem. That said, I think he might trade up a couple times for targets he wants. Regardless, whoever the GT is will have Mo and Ed in front of him for years so it should all work out, UFA signing, Cossa or whoever.
I see Cossa getting some good looks in camp headed to GR for at least 1 if not 2 years getting called up if necessary/to get a look. You never want to rush a goalie, so if we don't sign greiss to a short term extension look for another place holder back up coming in for at least1-2 years.
Wow! Who gave these guys a platform? Use Cossa as a back up in a couple of seasons with 14 Start's? So, presumably Ned I'd supposed to start 68 games? At this point, I have nothing but more negative comments. So, I will stop.

This host (not T-Foss) knows jack about hockey – and it shows. First – it's COE-sa, not CAH-sa. He would know this if he ever watched Cossa play on TV (which he claims he has, saying Cossa 'looks good.'). Second, the WHL is one of the top Junior A leagues in the world, specifically in this case, featuring the best players from across North America (and some Europeans). Third, his prediction of the kid seeing "five, six games" next year and "15, 20" the year after is completely based in fantasy land. No one develops a goalie like that. It's a shame Foster has to work with such a dolt. Terry deserves better. If you don't know your stuff, don't act like you do. Real fans see right through you.
Bringing Cossa in before Yzerman can put better defensemen in front of him would be a disaster. NO goalie could've done better behind the traffic cones pretending to be the Wings' defense the last two years. Don't go trying to ruin this kid by leaving him hanging out to dry.

Any chance to see Cossa in the Memorial Cup finals? Does anyone know where the games will be televised or screamed?
I'm looking forward to watching Cossa in future with the wings but he should spend at least one season with grand rapids first
