I was at the game he scored 500 in Vancouver. That section down in the corner where he cellyd was filled with sharks fans. Awesome night.

Marleau and Thornton are the two most deserving of a cup to never be able to get one. 2016 was the only chance, and the greedy Penguins took it away. Such a shame.

I was very lucky to see him twice in person, both in 2015 and 2016, like Jumbo, he made my childhood from the 2010s really special, like Jumbo, he was and still the reason why I'm a sharks fan to this day. I traveled to Edmonton a few years ago to see the Sharks play the Oilers. I was seated 2nd row wearing my Marleau jersey. During the warm-up he skated over and flipped a puck over the glass to me. Such a class act and great player!
