I wonder if Bjornfot has capped his potential? How many years is needed to put it all together? The stereotype is D men take longer to develop. If Clarke is better established with his all around game and advances past Bjornfot, then Clark should be rewarded. Maybe Bjornfot could be part of a trade.
Kings can't sit out durzi after pay raise and the way he played when doughty was hurt I think he is going to b real good for kings in the near future GKG 👍😎
There is ZERO chance The Todd would put Durzi and Clarke out together. Both have a lot to learn on the defensive end of the puck and the Kings like to typically run an offensive minded d with a more stay at home d. Both Durzi and Clarke are rovers so unless you want to see lots of two on nones, then this will never happen.
The reality is Durzi is keeping Clarke's spot warm, hence the 2 year deal. That puts Clarke back in the OHL for this year and one year to marinate in the AHL.
The hit on Zegras was not dirty. It looked pretty clear to me he came through the middle with his head down and took a shoulder to chest check. Not dirty but definitely not what the Ducks want to happen with a budding star player. What happened to Brandt Clarke in the preseason was much worse from a cheap shot perspective.
PS – It was Jan Jenik who hit Zegras. He was Arty's line mate in Hamilton with the Bulldogs. He isn't a goon, he is a skill guy.

Edler will be Clarke's godfather, they will be on Ice together most of the time, a RD will be the extra to protect players from waivers, guess Eddie did not watch the Hockey guy on over reactions, and vets know they are on roster so they do not have same drive to make a roster…Edler will be fine when the whistle blows just like Kopitar and Doughty and Quick…Keep trying Eddie if you do a good job your subscribers will go up if you keep pushing subscriptions you will drive them away… and before you talk about it study the issue…
I'm not impressed with Clarke to where I think should make the roster as Durzi is better right now. Roy unless they trade him along with Walker its a log jam. Helga Grans I think is more likely to be in top 4. I don't understand why Toby Boi is even on roster or would want in NHL? Guy is undersized worthless player who don't produce points while being defensive liability. In less PK time than Durzi who had like 80.5 minutes he was on ice for 11 PP Goals with 1 SHG for. Durzi had 5 SHGs while only giving up 4 PP Goals. Toby with -12 only having 8 assists is not any good nor will I support the team if Jacob Moverare vastly better player 6'3 Willie Mitchell is put on waivers. Even Clague was better than Tboy who had 3 PPAs. While Bjornfoot on PP gave up 1 SHG in his limited time when even Jacob Kings scored PP with him. JAD I would trade he has no value especially once they signed Fiala. They got enough undersized 5'10 players Fiala, Moore, he isn't Iafallo level player or anybody else Frankly. If Gabe gets sent to waivers he will get claimed in a second even Moverare. Byfield should be told to use max length stick sent to ECHL for a year then AHL next year until he can score 30 goals in AHL. Nobody would claim Bjornfot the guy has no talent or value even if he was not waiver exempt.
Lets see the Defensive Liability Toby Bjornfot All 37 Goals for 60 Goals Against. EV 36 Goals for 48 Against. PK 1 SHG with 11 PPGs against. 5 on 5 34 Goals for 57 Goals Against. Close 19 Goals for 25 Against. Tied 16 Goals for 19 Against. PP 0 Goal for 1 SHG against. Edler better than QB he had 3 Goals like 19 points in half a game. Its not like he is RR who could not even make the touchup for Icing. If not for Edler playing LA would not make Post Season last year. All 3 Teams who Finished Below them in STandings had 10 or more Goals. Vancouver Canucks had 246 average 3 Goals a game while allowing same amt of Goals Against 236 for LA. Knights along with Jets had over 10 Goals for Advantage. Griswald is probably the most hyped over rated player I seen since Frk haha. If Blake was not Egotistical Arrogant he would have kept Jacob Moverare in over Mediocre Mikey Anderson so Kings would have advanced over Edmonton OIlers without his -5 BS. Also if you start the ELC of Clarke this year your losing 2 to 5 players from Cap Crunch. Lizotte is another guy who I see ending up in AHL like Wagner as he has already his his 5'6 ceiling with 10 goals. Helenius is better or even Kupari to have a Center. YOu can't win with 3rd/4th line centers not even combined for 20 goals when 3rd Liner should get 20 to 30. Cal I was against that contract so him making 15M in 3 years. When Blake along with TMac are fired this year or next that will be a contract as to why. Then the New GM will hopefully trade Byfield or some of the Junk that Blake drafted in first round. Vilardi or Clarke the only 2 who might pan out but even Bran is 3rd line PP Specialist not a Top Pairing TAlent. HOpefully he can develop into least a top 4 but his lack of size makes him closer to Mathieu Schneider kinda player not even Justin Schultz :). Peterson got injured in preseason game. You need to play as if go into season cold your injuries are vastly higher as has been proven.
I don't like the Ads on JErseys as the Helmets are hard to see when wearing Cylon. I can't watch Club Soccer because of all the ads on them. I'm only into the World Cup or Euro when Italy the Best Team Ever is in them. When Euro Champion is not in World Cup it has not validity in the least as all best teams European. Brazil is alright or Argentina but they have no competition outside of maybe Uruguay who was great back in the day hehe. Vegas Knights new Gold uniforms over the black or grey really has me hoping they lose every game they wear them. I'll be glad when one of those companies that sponsors a team has a major scandal hehe. Roy is liability on PP as gave up SHG in Edmonton series then 3 SHGs with only 3 PPGs on the PP. That is a reason he will likely be traded this year or next. BAllys can't make any money on Kings preseason games when have no stars or ad buys. Kings could stream the Rookie Faceoff because that was their own legally or so compared to the preseason or Regular season or Post Season games. When not won a Playoff Series since 2014 got a failed 2nd overall pick in Byfield its not worth it. They would lose money not have the ad buys. The boring style they play is not going to generate any interest on TV. Also California is a really weak hockey market where its below MLS or Soccer, College Sports, MLB, NBA, NFL especially with those teams Winning Championships. LA Kings are probably 9th or 10th if even in the top 10 as Tennis is a bigger draw. I found a really good site with advanced stats when looking up Islanders Kings games I went to for Nick Shore first Goal. Kings think possession matters showing they don't understand hockey. NFL maybe if you have the ball can argue it wears down the Defense. Though a good Defense should be pounding the Offense who if they throw ball or run makes difference on clock management. Having puck in NHL don't rest your players or give any real advantage. If I can score 3 goals in a minute or 2 it don't matter if you have the puck 48 minutes of the game. Your also taking more checks if you have the puck so its actually easier to wear a team down who has possession.
