Let me know your expectations for the Flames this season
This season, the Flames will finish 1st in the Pacific Division with a 55-17-10 record to capture the Presidents’ Trophy, beat the Wild in 5 games the Western Conference quarterfinals, beat the Golden Knights in 6 games in the Western Conference semifinals, beat the defending Stanley Cup champion Avalanche in 7 games in the Western Conference final and get swept by the Devils in 4 games in the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals, Jonathan Huberdeau will lead the NHL in goals (67), assists (83) and points (150) and win Hart Memorial Trophy, Art Ross Trophy, Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award honors, head coach Daryl Sutter will win Jack Adams Award honors and general manager Brad Treliving will win Jim Gregory General Manager of the Year honors.
Calgary did Outstanding last year.
But, let's just hope they can Improve & go further in the Playoffs if they make it.
One would have to admit..
It sucks that we lost a few great players. But, with a change & new players. It might be what the Doctor had ordered!!
Calgary's chances might just be a bit better with these new players. Because, sometimes.. Just sometimes, old players get too used to the Same thing & tend to not put out a 100%
P.S. I admit, that Brad seemed to have done some bad for this team.. But, it does look like he & his staff have looked for a bigger & better team that wants to Win. 🦅
The Flames had a great season and, despite losing Matt T. and Johnny G., are still one of the top teams in the West and will continue to be a Cup contender IMHO.
