Neither team will make it to the Stanley Cup finals. Boston has made it further than Pitttsburgh has made in the playoffs the last 5 or 6 seasons
Got boston in 6. They'll figure out the isles defensive systems, add in the fact that they can't score on top of having to go through boston's great defense and the vezina runner up.

This is going to be a fun one. Both stadiums will be near full, Islanders just announced that they are going from 9k to 12k fans (about 80% capacity), and Bruins said they will have "near full" stadiums, so both arenas will be rocking. I'm taking isles in 6, caps stinked, the NYI will probably shut down the Marchand line like they did with Crosby (only 2 pts whole series), and Sorokin has better averages than Bruins goalie. Despite all that, I could definitely see anywhere from Bruins in 5 to isles in 5, it's that wide open imo.
I honestly don’t know which way this series will go. Im going to say isles in 6 if the Bruins keep taking penalties. Their kill was good but the caps PP was predictable and the isles can take advantage of the man advantage. If they can stay out of the box Bruins in 6 or 7
The islanders defeated the bruins this year on February 25th 7-2.The nhl playoffs are whole new ballgame and everything gets a little tighter.Defense win championships and the isles shutdown opposing teams star players really well.Islanders get there split in Boston and win all there games at Fort Neverlose.ISLES IN 6

Unfortunately as a B’s fan of 35 years I will say Isles in 6, given they have the edge in coaching. B’s have the edge in Forwards, defense is a draw and goaltending is a draw. If he doesn’t think rask will be letting in goals like Jarry did, I’m going to disagree, IF the B’s are able to pull this series out it will be because they score a lot of goals!

Not to say isle didn’t deserve it but jarry was a major weak link. The bruins play a much more physical defensive game with the top 2 lines being much better defensively and as good if not better offensively then pens. Bruins are a deeper then pits and isle. Bruins in 5

I am thinking the Bruins in 5… not because it is not close… Islanders could also easily win in 5.. I think it is going to come down to luck and opportunity, but I see the Bruins create a bit of both .. maybe just a little better than the Isles do, but I could be wrong.
