Buoy is not just a troll he's a "Sea Troll" but they should've include 2nd mascot like a Sasquatch probably a name starting with "S" such as "Samuel, the Seattle Sasquatch"

Personally I think that they could’ve went a much more serious route (like a giant squid/scary head/sea monster) but I guess I see the appeal in the troll. Little kids will like it and it’s not hurting anybody (gritty is probably hurting somebody)

They should make Davy Jones a 2nd mascot because Buoy is still really good, but I would love to see some sort of octopus as a mascot. I get why they didn’t do it because of Detroit, but I would still love to see that.

What have been funny if it was Sockeye which was one of the names people thought they would be called. But then make the mascot literally a giant sock with a large eye.
I think he is pretty cool, maybe because I’m from an island with a lot of troll-folklore but he reminds me of my childhood and that is what a mascot is mostly for, the kids. Up The Kraken 🐙

Fun Fact! Seattle has a sand troll under one of their bridges at the north end of Lake Union. I could imagine that that sand troll is an inspiration to the mascot!
