   Someone in the game thread said St.Louis could turn Bowey into a top 3Dman. I’m pretty sure he was joking. I hope so lol

   To me it shows the limits of advance stats versus eye test.

   Monahan looked very good tonight considering where he started from. Am I the only one that had KK PTSD tonight when looking at Slaf? Good hands, great release but lousy backchecking and very light on his skates (Saw him get down at least 5 times). He likely took shots from everywhere in the offensive zone because he was told to do so (Marty) but his lousy backchecking is a no go for me. He is a project and will get better but playing in the NHL is earned not given, he should not be given that gift as of now and should be sent to Laval to develop.
