Vesalainen is 100% a bust. I've watched him with the Moose a lot as well and he's an average player there at best. Haven't seen anything out of him. Maybe he is just one of those guys who need the European game. He was a stud back home. He just cannot convert his game to the NA game. He has had his chances, but he just cannot take it. Time to move on from him. Any of the guys taken after him would've been smarter, but hindsight is always 20/20.
I suspected Vesaleien was a bad pick. Too slow. Too passive.

I don't think they had scouted bottom half of fist round. Jets scouted him for their second round and probably were high on him and Samburg. Would have better to pick blind folded than picking Vesalainen. Wasted pick.
