  1. 5.8 million is not a discount. He literally played third line minutes the second half of the season. If he can stay consistent this will be a good contract. This is one of those could be amazing..could be just okay contract

  2. flames fan I agree with Steve on the teams window, we are going for it for the next 2-3 years for sure. after that we will see.

  3. The Flames should look to move Lucic and Monahan.both have 1 year remaining in their deals making 5+ MM each.

They could then sign Sonny Milano and pick up another guy maybe in the cap dump for picks trade. Just a thought.

As a Hawks fan we are looking for those types of contracts.

I think Monahan or Lucic to the Hawks for draft picks as a cap dump could benefit what both teams are trying to do this season.

  4. The news Jinx struck again i see. Huberdoo gets 8 year extension after you guys split.

  5. I love how obsolete these comments are when a couple of hours after it releases Huberdeau signs with Calgary for 8 years. Tkachuk is a live by the sword, die by the sword type of player who will get hurt eventually after some incident with a player he pissed off or get suspended multiple times after retaliation penalties. Calgary won this trade BIG TIME!!!
