Bringing in 2 veteran left wings with a combined 781 points in the NHL.
It would appear Steve is getting a backup plan if Bertuzzi departs the roster, or at TDL time, a big trade will occur.
So with LW Berggren, it may be he is with GRG for next year? Givani? hmm what to do with these roster options.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Can someone translate this signing to baseball or football terms
Got 2 solid years and the fact that Perron didn't push for 4 years is nuts. Huge win for Detroit
Yzerman, best GM out there … bar none.
Chris Ilitch handed Stevie his checkbook and said, "spend until there are no more checks". I can't remember a day in DRW history where this many major personnel changes were made.
As Arnold say’s: I’ll be back. Perron always comes home
perron is trash
Husso in net this is gonna be crazy how much the red wings bump up from this season.
2 top 6 wingers, a top 6 center, 2 top 4 defenseman, and an extension to a time share capable goalie.
For those not keeping track, thats an entire 2nd Line, an entire 1/2 defense pairing, and net depth. Not a bad day.
Curious to see what the forward lines will be next season with all new acquisitions
Did they get a defenseman yet?
Oh there's gonna be more, can't wait to see who Yzerman trades for. I'd imagine zadina, fabbri, and Bertuzzi are all that would likely go for trade 1st, if not 2 of them for 1 really solid player.
Stevie Y not playing around. He gives you a chance to perform, and if you don't…its bye bye. He's never attached to a player – if he thinks he can make the team better, he'll pull the trigger. Love it.
If a team signs a free agent player is there any time limit that they have to keep that player before they can turn around and trade him I am thinking David Perron will be traded back to the St. Louis Blues as soon as they clear some cap space, Perron will be back in St. Louis is my guess at some point
what are the excuses gonna be when the wings miss again next season lol
😭
The guy makes things happen like he is playing GM mode on rookie! 🤷 The guy works magic!
The line perdition's are gonna be really fun this year
Stevie on beast mode today🔥
It's so exciting to see what's gonna happen this coming season!
I always thought Perron was a pretty sneaky silently good value player that stayed under the radar since his stay with the oilers.
I wish Perron well and hope he does great. The Red Wings can suck it though. 😁
Absolutely sucks for us in St.Louis. Awesome off season for Stevie Y and Detroit.
For sure a crucial player when the Blues won. as a Blues fan, sad to see him go.
Letting Husso go made me upset, I am mad now, what are the St.Louis Blues mgmt team doing
Love this signing 🥰
Hey, if you're over 27…you MUST $ign for future! Yikes – win Cup, lose you're starting goalie! Veteran teams like Pens, Caps, Panthers, Leafs and even Bolts and my Blue Ballers are maintaining status quo while Oilers and Kings in limbo yet younger teams – Kraken, Sharks, Sabres , are slllowly moving up. Ex- p/o teams – Preds, Bruins, Stars, Canes, even Johnny Hockyless Flames, may be in trouble unless reinforcements arrive, imo. Sorry but Detroit was ONLY winning with great Russian players…where are they?
As a Blues fan, we will miss David. I hope he does well for you guys. On the downside, his speed isn't good. And for a guy that scores a lot of goals on the power play, his plus/minus isnt great either. He also been sidelined for concussions frequently. With all that said, I hope he helps Detroit.
Bye Frenchy thank you for the cup
huge loss for the Blues
bought his jersey the night the Blues drafted him so i have a soft spot but boy does David bring it every single night and is the perfect piece for the Red Wings. I say they are nailing it on the build. Good Job Steve.
