I would say your grade is pretty spot on considering. The Lauzon/ Johansson trades imo were a+ moves. I would have been happy with Sprong alone just because I think he’s an upgrade over Johansson. Like you I consider the Appleton trade a complete fail.
Good video and keep on Kraken.
It was a mixed trade deadline, some good moves and some others were I thought where we could’ve gotten more value (Gio and Appleton). Overall I would give our trade deadline a B
Let the Kraken Sprong Era begin!!!
Future considerations = A bag of pucks
I wonder how many of the players had no interest in returning to Seattle and if that kind of forced Francis's hand to trade. We all will miss Blackwell, but we have no idea about internal conversations.
At least we aren't Vegas. Trading a Vesna Goalie for nothing and letting Twitter tell him then trading another player to a team on his no trade list clearly without consulting him or his agent.
32 future picks! Yes, please. GO KRAKEN!
Lauzon is GONE !!!!!!! A+ for getting rid of that schmuck. Getting rid of Blackwell was a mistake. The rest of the trades were just meh…..should have gotten more for Gio.
Hiho to Seattle, i may rate the Gio/ Blackwell Trade as B- but can see why you go with C+ at the other trades we match pretty good. Lets hope Francis‘ draft record stays at his level if yes, the future (let beside next season, which roughly will be more like this one) looks bright, at least to me.
Declare for the NHL draft
