The whole podcast was interesting. Intentionally or not, there was a vibrant comparison between click bait journalism, and some real journalism by Katie Strang. I got a story on my news feed today, with the reporter who will not be named defending his stuff. "Hide all from" is a great option.

At some point the league is going to have to address this and do so publicly. The story isn't going to go away and as much as league has propped up this organization this could wind up with lots of egg on their faces too.

I'm not discounting the journalist for this particular piece but didn't The Athletic lay off most of the Arizona Coyotes writing staff at the start of the pandemic? Now they are advertising this story on this app relentlessly. Why not utilize the (local) reporters you laid off to dig deeper into the story?

Great interview, great piece, Katie Strang is a sports media legend. Sad to see a franchise that needs some prolific help and some great minds in places of power to get themselves out of the mud get progressively worse figureheads instead.
The Coyotes have been a hot mess for many years but this is a whole other level of toxic disaster that team has become.
