Expectations are at zero for next year, he's won shit all in 40 years of coaching, and the last thing the jets need is a "nice guy" as a coach…

I think Bowness will be a very good fit for the Jets at this point in time. He did very
well with a Dallas team that doesn't have the talent the Jets do. I must say Rick
looks great for 68 yrs old, as he could pass for 55. Looks younger than Chevy.
I like how he brought up Hellebuyck first, Laine was right. Build around Connor, he's easily top 3 in the league. Interesting though that Jets also approached Torts especially with Dubois on their roster.

Saw him get his 2nd win behind the bench in 1989.
Everyone complaining about his win loss record. He only coached two decent teams so far, and had a winning record with Boston and Dallas.
Take away his time with the 4 years he had with that horrible ex franchise in Ottawa. And he actually has a record of 173-173-30-28, with a bunch of crappy teams.
Hopefully this the big guy we need
