Nice recap Neil! I've been to the Kraken Community Iceplex a few times, including the grand opening earlier this month and the team's first intrasquad training camp scrimmage. The three-sheet facility in the redeveloped Northgate Mall is state-of-the-art and I'm super pumped for how it will be a centerpiece for the growth of hockey in Seattle and the Northwest. There's a Starbucks inside as well as a restaurant (opening soon) overlooking two of the rinks, and a Kraken team store. The main rink reminds me a lot of the Vegas Golden Knights' practice sheet (with the team offices overlooking the rink). They are planning on having some game watches there where fans can have public skate while watching the Kraken on the big screen. There is also a light rail station opening this weekend that will connect the rink with downtown Seattle (20 minutes away).

The Jerseys are ugly, too much Blue and 3 shades don’t look good. They remind of a what could’ve been the Vancouver jerseys during the Marcus Nasland era.
Been to the practice facility a few times now and it is really nice in person! Still not fully finished in some areas (Bar & Grill, and Offices) but the rinks are nice and good up close viewing of team practices.
One of the best in the league but I thought players would’ve had SK colour Sticks and skates
