Les Rangers ont rapidement pris les devants lorsqu’Adam Fox a marqué un but en avantage numérique. Puis en début de 2ème période Andrew Copp marque pour porter le score à 2-0 des rangers. Jake Guentzel marquerait alors 2 buts pour créer l’égalité en 2e période. Sur un penalty, le meilleur buteur des Rangers, Chris Kreider, reçoit une belle passe de Mika Zibanejad et Kreids l’enterre 3-2 Rangers. Bryan Rust marquerait alors sur un avantage de 5 contre 3 et à la fin de la 2e période c’est 3-3. Les Rangers avec 3 minutes à faire en 3e période marquent un but, Filip Chytil enchaîne sur un rebond juteux et le place derrière DeSmith mais le but est ensuite renversé et appelé pour interférence du gardien par Kappo Kakko. Avance rapide vers le 3e OT, Evgeni Malkin le remporte sur une déviation pour les Penguins de Pittsburgh. Igor Shesterkin avec 79 arrêts, 2e de tous les temps dans un match éliminatoire.     If you blow a lead and can’t score on a 30 year old AHL goalie, maybe the refs aren’t the reason you lost. Way to waste a historic Igor performance. He’s looking like Lundqvist already

    These Rangers fans really bought into the Rangers feed with their head so far up their ass saying there is no goaltender interference.

    Kakko barely got touched and could have put the brakes on and at least made an attempt to stop. He did not. He basically went full send to the net and through the crease.

    Respect to all the pens fans commenting respecting ranger fans .. I think the rangers got robbed , but the pens outplayed them for 4 1/2 periods .. all and all what a great sport !

    Great game.. I'm a Pens fan and I was in Pittsburgh for the game March 29th against yinz.. you guys have so much talent across the board its absurd, Igor is as good as they come!     Man new York fans think anytime their player is touched it should be an automatic penalty 🤣.. Can't wait to see their reactin Wednesday when pens move forward to the 2nd round 😀 👏 👍

    As a Pens fan I went to watch this in order to bask in some NYR tears and to make my day a little better. But instead as I was watching this I was thinking "I do a lot of this same stuff as I watch the game" I feel like I have learned a good lesson here. Lets all agree that the Flyers suck and Tom Wilson is a piece of human garbage..
