Great look at some of the players that we've been linked to. I would like a defenseman as well to strengthen our pairings and hopefully avoid what we went through in the 2nd round of last season's playoffs again, to be honest. I guess you could say that we're in the Jakob Chychrun sweepstakes, so, hopefully he comes to Boston. What we'd have to give up is pretty interesting, but just as long as we don't give Arizona either Lysell or Lohrei, then I won't complain. Let's see how this will pan out going into the deadline!
Main problem has been defending in the final minute. If they don’t address that at the deadline, it’s going to hurt them in the playoffs.

Giving up a lot for a rental centerman when our defense is turning the puck over every other play won't help us in the playoffs. We need to get better defensively.
One of the things that worries me about our GM Sweeney is that he was a defensemen yet he doesn't seem to be very good at building a solid defense.

Way too much you offered for Giroux, he is a 35 year old rental, most I would give is Studnicka + Ahcan. Really don't want to pay the price for Chychrun either, young guy with 3 serious knee injuries already, that just screams Gord Kluzak to me and he is really overrated, because he scored 16 once, he is not very good defensively. Would rather add Middleton and look at Sanheim if available for the the right price. I would honestly like to hang onto Lysell, Lorhei and all 1st round picks, ok dealing any other prospects, DeBrusk, ever Frederic.
