   Inb4 people assume a pre season game means Jimmy Vesey will play 20 minutes on the first line opening night. Give me all the whining.

   I was in the trenches arguing for Buch to get more minutes than Vesey back in 2016, and to now see Vesey up on the top line in Buch’s old spot (and him probably being a better alternative than other guys if the kid line stays together) is giving me vicious whiplash. We really should just put Laf up there though…

   Those 2 4th line groups are giving me some hope we won’t have a terrible 4th line though, assuming that the first group ends up being the guys. Blais – Goodrow is a solid (albeit overpaid) 4th line, and Rydahl and Gauthier have been a step above the other 4th line options this preseason.
