Looking like a true tank year for the boys lol I still liked a few of the plays I was seeing on the ice. I think a big problem this year will be the back end and the team will probably be a glass cannon
I'm not worried about Slaf…he just needs NHL experience and time. The moment he loses his smile and personality in interviews…that's when I'll become concerned. I personally would like to see him on a line with an experienced Center like Monahan (who for his first game since recovering from his last injury was pretty impressive to me…moved well, won some face-offs, was implicated) and with a shooter like Gally, who is also a menace in front of the net. I hate seeing Gally with Dvorak and Dadonov…such a waste of a line IMO. I would also like to see Dach play with Drouin and Heineman. I'm convinced Hoffman is on his way out. Don't be surprised to see a regular be placed on waivers by the Habs if need be. Mtl will add (experienced D) to this team b4 the end of camp.
Kirby looks and skates a lot like Bobby Smith …If he becomes half the player Bobby was then we have a great addition ….Bobby was a first overall pick and a top player for the Habs in the 80s …The Flower was a great supporter of Bobby …Bobby has developed many future NHL stars through his ownership of the Halifax Mooseheads …
Arber is a battler …He controls himself when the money is on the line as shown by his play in the Cdn Junior playoffs this year …He got his team to the final game …The Sea Dogs won the title but in a one game effort anything can happen …The loss was not Arber's fault …

The leafs are a strong team this year. So this score doesn't bother me. Glad to see slafkosky have a good game. You can really see his potential.
I remember your reaction when the Habs drafted Slafkovsky instead of Wright. You looked devastated. lol! You sure turned around on the pick, and there's only one person to point our finger at. Slafkovsky! He only got one point tonight but if he were to play like he did every night, it's already a good pick. He's only 18 and hasn't played 1 real NHL game yet. So the sky's the limit for this guy. Nothing against Wright but I was happy the Habs drafted Slafkovsky and I'm still cheering for him!
Slafkovsky looked dominant. And Dach’s skill was unreal, those two are going to be huge to our future!
This pre-season has been absolutely terrible, gonna be another loooooong season.

As a Leafs fan, I am super pumped about Robertson. Curious to see how him and Caufields game progresses in the future. Very similar play style and size
