Dont think they will do much in the playoffs, campbell is a downgrade to smith imo
Top center line in the league, new coach and players taking pay cuts to be a part of the team. Should be a top team. Banking on Campbell though.
The Holloway show last night was impressive. He’s a game changer. Someone has to go though to fit Hollywood in.

The Oilers had a very good season, but lost out to the Avs in the Western finals–this team will be a Cup contender again; in fact, I'm anticipating a rematch with the Avs–I agree that Goaltender Jack Campbell is the key to ultimate success and a return to Being Cup Champs for Edmonton. The subtractions are of minimal effect ,but, the future looks bright with the likes of Holloway and others. Expecting another excellent season and playoff for the Oilers.
Oilers look poised to win the Pacific. Solid moves in signing Kane, and bringing in Campbell. My only concerns are the D core, and is Skinner as the back up as good as everyone in Edmonton say? Campbell is high maintenance, and workload has to be managed carefully. Surprised Tyson Barrie is still there. He's the one who likely gets traded, and Oilers bring in a more d minded player for the bottom pair. Forward group looks strong. Oilers are nuts if they don't keep Holloway around to open the season.
I’d say the expectation is wcf or later
I watch one game at a time, I don't push my expectations too far past that
