    I Am Glad Johnny Is Gone As It Looks Like Calgary Is Actually Going To Have A Playoff Capable Team Now! Size Does Matter Especially In The Playoffs!

    Michael Stone & Adam Ruzicka Need To Be Signed!
    Michael Stone Is A Great Utility Player He Can Come In After Not Playing A Few Games & Not Miss A Beat! Stoner Has A Good Hard Accurate Shot From The Point Too That Needs To Be Utilized More Often! Great Team Depth & Injury Insurance!
    Markstrom Is A Great Goaltender But Needs To Learn To Stay In His Net & He will Be Fine!
    Flames Have A Fine Back Up In Dan Vladar, Flames Really Have A 1A & A 1B Goalie Situation. Two Potential Starting Goalies!
    This Is Another Step In The Right Direction For The Flames!

    I'm a huge Flames fan and seeing Kadri sign with the Flames is a dream and to see we have to lose Monahan is to bad but we need the cap space so here is the trade i would like to see with Montreal Monahan and Valdar for price. I doubt that would ever happen but a man can dream.

    Phew! Finally got this over with! Now that Kadri is settled – Monday morning headlines just might be interesting around the NHL. I wouldn't want to be a Leaf today.

    Selfishly, as a Bruins fan-
    Does this free up Milan Lucic to wear black and gold?

    Do they need/want Milan gone to loosen up salary cap?

    Or are they going to keep their playoff veteran?

    I hear RUMORS Flames are looking to trade him to the Ducks –

    They should get rid of Markstrum, I don’t think he’s a number 1 goalie imo. He fell apart near the end of the season and the Playoffs!

    They will trade a d and something for another top 6 forward. I believe Monahan can be a top 6 forward again but those injuries have really hurt him

    Over payment !!!! Anything over 3 or 4 years is too much for Kadri. Career year for him. Don’t expect him to repeat that again !!!!
