He had some good moments this preseason. He will be a stud for sure. Just needs some time, size, and a bit more confidence.
Hopefully those are things he can gain while in the AHL.
He’ll get there. Would have to be a rare specimen indeed for a d-man to stick with an NHL team at age 20.
Getting top line minutes in the AHL will be more valuable at this stage of his career than riding the bench as the 7th D-man.
