  1. Vegas got too much and so will Seattle. They need to earn it with time.

  2. I’m afraid of the Expansion draft. I think Seattle is going to Pick Driedger, and that would make Me so heartbroken. But we have to see what happens.

  3. If a Expansion Draft provides an expansion team the ability to compete for a Cup in the first year, the rules need to be changed.

  4. I think it's cool to watch a franchise begin from the ground up. I never watched too closely before for other franchises, but since I live in Vancouver (Loserville), and Seattle is 2 hours down the I-5, I'm watching with fascination. From the new Key Arena, the practice facility being built at Northgate Mall, and the solid management team being assembled piece by piece, it's refreshing to see. As for Vancouver; well the team is broken from the top down. Ownership, management, and all things below are FUBAR. I'm sure I will be one of many Vancouver area hockey fans that becomes a Kracken fan from the first puck drop. Go Kracken.

  5. If it was a Canadian expansion they would only be allowed to draft from the minor leagues! Talk about unfair to the paying customers of the REAL teams!!

  6. seriously the last thing we need is a team in Seattle there are markets in Canada that could have an expansion team but ya put more teams in the USA lets make sure the cup never goes north to Canada. Seattle is an insult to all Canadians who deserve to have hockey in the country that invented it another American team just what we need in Canada

  7. Has Seattle made it's final payment of 250 million? Are they in the NHL officially, because until the final payment is made… They can't sign anyone, they can't trade anyone, they can't go to the Governors meetings, or the General Managers meetings.

  8. Still can't believe Vegas doesn't have to give anything up. Friggin highway robbery…

  9. As a Hurricanes fan,i expect Ronnie to do well there. He is the main architect of our current team through his drafting.

  10. Habs should protect primeau and let price open to see if they can move that big contract away.

  11. I remember people saying the 2 year contract for holtby with the canucks was good because Seattle will probably take him. They might still… But you'd have to pay them too

  12. Vegas is the "gold standard" because they were able to pick up a Stanley Cup winning goalie for nothing.
