  1. If everything goes well Calgary will make the playoffs. Chemistry always takes time. the forwards out average over 2.5 pts a game. Forwards in only average 1.6 unless they have carrer years. 1 pt a game is huge.

  3. The Flames won 50 games, won the division, were the 2nd best defensive team in the league and made the 2nd round of the playoffs. Hardly underachievers

  4. Only Chucky is younger , Johnny G and Johnny H are two months apart …you lost one younger player and gained a older vet and top 4 d …I’d probably do that trade all day honestly 🤷‍♂️

  5. Flames needed the change, whether they planned it this way or not. The pressure is on now.

Luckily they have some pieces to trade on the blueline.

  6. Gaudreau and Huberdeau are literally the same age. Huberdeau is maybe 8 months older but I haven't looked at the exact birth dates.

  7. Flames are AT BEST as good as they were last season, I doubt absolutely everything breaks right for them next season. The x-factors for their team are in my opinion:

    Huberdeau/Lindholm chemistry

Kadri (what version shows up for the flames)

Oliver Kylington (Is he a legit top 4 guy or not? He didn't look like one when he played away from Tanev, and Tanev might be out to start the season)

Mangiapane (He was inconsistent last season even though he scored at a 30 goal pace)

Weegar (Should the flames make the playoffs, and we have every reason to believe they're a lock to do so, will he show up? Cause he disappeared in the post-season last year for Florida)

  8. What a strange way to look at things, yes the Flames haven't had a lot of success as a team in the playoffs but the majority of this team have not contributed to that history. Awful podcast as well at least show some professionalism John Shannon can pick up after himself before subjecting us to his disgusting living room.

  9. It’s not a loss for Calgary. The flames have been inconsistent and have fallen short a lot and it was time! The so called “losses” were great for headlines but the truth is, it’s was a much needed change
