    I think it's worth noting that Jiricek's CHL rights belong to the Spokane Chiefs, so you could draft him and Have him developing right in your own region. I personally like Jiricek just a tad better because he has more offensive upside then Nemec. NHL teams for years are gonna wonder how you can replicate explosive offensive-defensemen like Josi or Makar, and to me, I find more value that can get involved in the play and produce.

    Go Kraken! Thanks for discussing the draft. Now I have a better sense of the possibilities. I think Savoie might be a good pick given the Kraken's makeup.

    I can see NJ taking Nemec at 2. Would love to see Cooley fall if Yotes take Slofkovsky, but it would be interesting with Jiricek, Slofkovsky, and Gauthier (all guys with good size): I’d prefer Gauthier at that point.

    Welcome back. Thanks for this good video. I would rejoice if the Kraken picked Savoie. Jiricek would not hurt my feelings, but I agree with you that Savoie would be a real asset. (also more help with PP and PK would be deeply appreciated) I eagerly await the results of the draft (and trades). Go KRAKEN!

    Love the comments about Savoie. I love him, and watching his WHL highlights, he has a very similar style of play to Johnny Gaudreau. I don't think there's any chance the Kraken take Savoie, but I think whoever gets Savoie will be getting a great player.

    Considering its is Francis in charge, don't expect anything daring like drafting Savoie. I wish he would do whatever it takes to get NJ's pick. They need experience Fs and a G to be competitive, why not send every player over 30 to NJ. In the Kraken had #2 and 4 picks, they could take both Cooley and Nemec. They should tank again next season, get as many picks as possible and shoot for 2023-24 to start signing UFAs but not before that. Picks, picks, picks is the only way forward.

    Hey dude Ty for the videos I’m a week into learning about hockey and I find your channel as a great source. I have a request can you maybe explain where NHL teams draft players from? I am extremely new to hockey lol. Is it like the NBA do they draft from college and minor leagues can you maybe make a video listing all the places they draft players from hopefully this make sense lol also can they come straight out of high school?

    I also Belkieve that Unless NJ makes a trade, like Chicago who would take a defensive player we are looking for Nemac to come to Seattle.
