JT Miller costs too much, go after Jacob Chychrun, thats where i spend my assets on, he is only 23 , 4.6 aav for 3 more years, he is the perfect fit for Muzzin, he is done too many injuries and another concusion a month after the first is not good, Put him on Robidas Island till his contract is up.for a forward i would go after Forsberg, he will cost way less than a Miller.
If Muzzin is out to a least the playoffs Dubas will go all in for a top 6 forward like Miller and a solid dman (maybe 2). This is all mute if the goaltending doesn’t get on track before the deadline…..

Do you realize what they would cost us?? For Miller…Try A 1st and 2 2nds..plus an elite prospect plus a player off of our roster. And our best prospect has a brain tumour..so dont expect much. I would like kyle dubas to hand in his reignation! He has let kadri, marchment and hyman go to other teams now all 3 are lighting it up and the leafs are now seeking the same type of players! Bullshit!! I can chalk this up to dubas signing 4 players to half the teams salary to which in turn forces our good players out cause he cant afford to keep them! Brian burke was right when dubas signed marner to over 10 million…dubas is an idiot. Now all the top wingers are going to want top line center money! Marner is woth 8 to 8.5 million per. The leafs don't have a problem scoring goals. They need to keep pucks from going in the net. They need defense and a goalie. Toronto should never have picked up Mrazek.
For the most part I like the Leafs, but if you saw the Redwings game the other night you too might be thinking we should be looking at another goalie, … just in case. Like most Leaf fans I love Jack Campbell, but if he doesn't get back into the groove there's going to be a big problem.
At first, before Muzzin went down I was not supporting making a move for Schenn. But after that game in Detroit I would try and move Kerfoot, Holl, Robertson and a first for JT Miller and Schenn plus either a pick or prospect.

I would try to trade 1st and foremost Tavares, Kerfoot, Muzzin, Brodie, 2ndly Kampf, Mrazek, Holl. If going to trade for Braun (Flyers) take Hart too. I would definitely grab Max Domi. J.T. Miller or Lafreniere then focus on defense and try to aquire Broberg and or Drysdale or Chychurn. Toronto has a lot of talent already in their pool to fill any gaps.
I agree adding Miller to the JT/Nylander line is exactly what that line needs, size/grit/toughness and good with the puck and bringing Schenn back for more toughness/depth down the right side appeals to me also.. what goes out though? a 1st round pick is a given.. Dermott/Kerfoot.. prospect? very pricey

They cannot add JT Miller because they have about 7.9 million left in next year cap and Jack Campbell is a RFA next year. They need to trade away Tavares if they want JT Miller.
