The 4th line looks odd, wonder if 3 and 4 should be swapped

This is all I see when I see this line
The notion of both bottom 6 lines being very defensively sound is intriguing. Basically forces other teams to rely on beating our top two lines which is a tough thing to do
My POV on this is that the Robertson, Nylander, malgin line is for feasting on forth lines. Two defensive lines than the first.
That looks solid as it can be once to insert JT into that mix.
Malgin and Robertson duking it out for a chance on the scoring line
That second line 🔥
Interesting… Malgin and Robertson both in when Tavares is out?
This is the way….until JT comes back.
Muzzin-holl makes me sad
This almost makes *too* much sense to give Nylander reps at center. It’s only the position he grew up playing, and the position he plays internationally (where he’s absolutely dominated).
I really don’t hate the idea of Nylander as center. I like the concept of the Robertson/Malgin pairing. Both guys have played well.
Of the bubble players Zach Aston Reese, Robertson, Malgin and Steeves have looked the best from the guys fighting for roster spots. Factoring in waivers I’d rather have ZAR, Robertson, and Malgin break camp.
So basically the worse of Robertson or Malgin gets replaced by Tavares, and the worse dman comes out for Liljegren.
top 6 malgin FTW
let the man cook
Engvall? I thought he was out for the start of the season
I would really like to see Nylander get a run at center.
I really like that bottom 6
These are the exact forward lines I’ve been hoping we’d give a try while JT is out. Gives us an elite line 1, all offense line 2, balanced line 3, all defence line 4. Feels balanced overall & each line has its own role.
I think that 4th line is pretty clearly meant to be the 3rd in reality. Nice to see Engvall back.
Is anyone else thinking « jeez I’d way rather Mete as our 6th d than Holl »? Mete’s looked very solid all around and can skate like the wind, while Holl hasn’t looked like he can keep up to game speed at all.
I really hope lily replaces holl when he’s back. Holl has been tough to watch in the preseason
That bottom six looks a hell of a lot stronger than it did last year. Love it.
Nice to see Nylander get some reps at C as well.
