Dont wanna lose game 6 cuz then you go into game 7 scared of messing up and all those years of not getting over the hump comes back to you and you start playing nervous.

  2. Macs goal made my jaw drop- then Bozi, who had only played 7 minutes all game mind you made my stomach drop. Sadly I think the time cleaning the hats gave Blues an extra time out and time to regroup. Must suck to put a team on your back, play like a man possessed, score a hatty and still lose. Heartbreaking. Avs deserve to make the conference final, they were dead last just a few years back and have built an incredible team. It's their time. Avs Bolts final- Avs in 7

  3. Someone should do a Top 5 or 10 of the best goals in a playoff loss. Or best goals in a lost game that would have won the series. Or most clutch playoff plays that didn't matter.

  4. Life-long Blues fan. I really didn’t expect this series to go 6. Win or lose, they have made me proud. Making it to the second round, and taking two on the road against a team like the Avs is a win in my book.

  5. Great breaking downs, again.

Noted on Bieksa – i haven't listened to him much. Solid d-man – good to hear, solid analyst too. Some just suck – Keith Jones.

Why not show that key "keep in" by Faulk. Hugely underrated plays. (almost like a save, maybe)

Anyway, that snipe by Tarasenko – team responded. Even Husso responded. Rob Thomas – if this eases his tense play, or something, he may be big in the next two games.

Cool to see you grow on here.

  6. Hell of a game and its why the players gotta play and the fans watch regardless of any game seeming "in the bag" for a team.

  7. If there ever was a type of win that could propel your team out of a 3-1 series hole against a great team and realistically come back and win, this is definitely it!

  8. Can we talk about how both mackinnons goals were both deflected in off blues players? Especially the second was flukey, it bounced off paraykos chest. Also vladi has played like ass. Skating in mud and useless defensively like always

  9. I notice that the Blues won more face offs in the final minutes and think it played a part in them being able to sustain pressure in the offensive zone. what a game!!!! LGB!!!!!

  10. I said Avs in 6. One thing I always say is lookout for those superstars that play pissed off. Im looking at Nates great game last night and the outcome as a Avs didn't want to see but tomorrow night you know Nate will have the rest of the Avs coming out strong. They have to they need to take out the Blues crowd early.

  11. People don’t really get how much of a momentum swing this game is

They blew a 3 goal lead in the 2nd half of the game, blow a 2nd lead with less than 3 minutes left in the game after one of the goals of the year, and then lose in overtime at home where they have an incredible record

Now they will have to win on the road in a building that’s going to be insanely volatile and the thought of choking is going to be in their heads

    Good luck with that Colorado

    LGB

  12. 1. repeatedly, faceoff formation needs practice
    2. even no-look shots require planning before the game
    3. aim for the ear!

  13. This game made me save money for heart check up. If I'm alive right now it's because it's all ok. 🤣 On to game 6. Let's fight for a game 7. Let's go Blues!

  14. I love the courtesy at @11:14. I also love the scientific explanation on the avs PP beginning at the same time stamp.

The scientific explanations is what keeps me watching because we layman learn!

  15. Avs lost because they played a prevent defense after they went up 3-0 instead of blitzing. I expect a 60-minute blitzkrieg from Avs in game 6.

  16. I like what Tarasenko is doing, kinda becoming a power forward making him more useful during the times he isn't scoring, and giving him more different ways to put it in. We'll see if that's something he does going forward, but he wants this one bad and has been very physical. As an avs fan I'm not big time worried. keumper got a little out played, as long as it isn't habit or a streak. Game was even but the avs had more of the better chances, we didn't break down, defence was fine. With the blues strengths defending a lead for 25 minutes is just really stupid. Never a strategy, just something that sometimes creeps into a teams mindset too early, way too early tonight. We had maybe 3 shifts where we even tried to play offence in the last 25 mins, played way too safe. Sure we did it ok, but give the blues 25 mins of outside shots and then they get more than enough rebound chances, and attempts from far out through screens to get a few in right. If you are playing percentages the blues didn't need luck, they needed enough time, which they had.
Overall if we move on then the more lessons learned and tough things we get through, the better one could say. The playing safe way too early thing better be a lesson learned, never do that unless you are physically dominant. I have no issue with the avs physical presence but the blues are fine there too and understand and are willing to get to the net. We blew a very very good performance against a very good team that played well just from changing our game insanely early. As confident as the avs still should be, this could easily end up a grave mistake. But we just need to do what we've been doing, make sure we're sharp and ready, and go get it. MacK's goal was nuts, a shift in the D zone, and he's the one who still has the legs left.

  17. The Blues would have won in 6 if Binnington did not get hurt period. I hope they will win in 7 but I don't think that they will.

  18. love your channel name thats why you got my sub. Well and I liked your breakdown as well. Hopefully we pull a rabbit out of a hat and force game 7 to win the series

  19. Avs fan may end up wondering.."why the hell did we throw our damn hats in the ice and give the Blues time to regroup and rest"

  20. Well Coach what we also watched was Colorado breaking down defensively in their end zone and if they don’t improve I sense a upset coming.
