@Islanders de New York

1. Hi Gil, as always a very entertaining show! Listen, on my team, I want hungry players. To bring that Long Island kid back home would absolutely ignite hunger and fire! He may not score more than he does but who knows. Give him a PTO—-and who knows what the kid can do and at least he gives other teams a chance to pick him up. I’d rather have that kid than guys that have 4, 5 and 6 year undeserving contracts. That kid would yearn for something like that——-lazy well fed cats, just don’t play as hard———PS—-Lou is snowing us big time—he knows this team can’t score——I simply don’t trust him come the deadline. Bottom line? Then let this team do what it can—next summer get either Kane or Tarasenko——unless this team can shock us and have a great year——then make the move. Kane is the answer——but I’d rather not trade for him. Rags got Messier at an advanced age and look how that turned out——Kane to the Isles would make the Isles a true Cup Contender with that D and Sorokin.

  2. I like the idea of signing him to a PTO. Might put Beauvillier on the hot seat or expendable.

  3. Hi Gil, I think inviting him for a PTO is a waste. There has to be reasons why this player is still out there and not signed. I would rather give Holmstrom or Raty the opportunity. And Beauvillier will play with Barzal this year. Which they should of done this 2 years ago.

  4. Since Isles are tight up against the cap, I would bring in Milano for a PTO, why not ? , Isles have nothing to lose at this point

  5. He couldn’t hurt the team. Bring him in for a tryout. Maybe he works out

  6. I hope you’re feeling better. Heard from the last locked on you had COVID. Glad to see you’re getting better. I agree with you on Milano, it can’t hurt. It’s September so I’m starting to count the days until NHL time! Feel better & Lets go Islanders!!

  7. Gil, your doing one hell of a job, especially considering there's not much "new" Isles news to discuss as of late, but you find interesting topics to talk about. Just imagine how easy it's going to be once the season starts, talking about all the Isles win's and such 🙂 #LGI!!

  8. They should but let’s face it the reality of it happening is slim to none considering how our off-season has been so far

  9. How can a guy like Milano be available a few days of start of training camps in the NHL…. ??? This concussion history being the main reason does not stick according to me. Teams could still take a chance on him on a 1,5 to 2 millions 1 or 2 years and it would not be quite risk…
